health care reform
If we want reform then congress should be given a new health care plan.
Whatever the WORST HMO that is available to government employees should be the standard.
No government employee, not even Biden or Obama, should be given anything better than what the least government employee gets.
Let congress find out about copays and formularies and waiting times for hospitalizations and surgery and even appointments and referrals.
That way if THEY want change - EVERYONE gets change.

the caught the killer
The Miami Dade County Police, along with the Palmetto Bay and Cutler Bay police have arrested an 18 year old male who they say is the serial cat killer. His mother lives around the corner from my house, his father lives about 1.5 miles away. Most of the killings were done within walking distance of either home.
Why did he do it? No one knows.
He is currently being psychologically evaluated.
Two other arrest warrents were issued, but not yet served, so there are probably others involved. I hope they catch all of them and prosecute all of them to the fullest extent of the law.
