TMI a little place to whine

Aches have appeared in places I never imagined would ache. It's all arthritis, or some other immune difficency that comes with aging. Little finger, toes, knees, back shoulder, wrist....it all aches.

Aging, I am now in the last of my 50's and next year I will be OLD, at least I will probably look old, but on days that aren't storming and making me ache I dont' think I will feel 60.

I hope I won't LOOK 60. Vain of me but what the heck.

Arrrrr, that it be matey, that it be.

Shiver me timbers (because my office is freezing that's very easy to say today.)

Now, if this pirate thing holds true today then by this evening I should have a treasure chest full of gold dabloons.

Read a story in yesterday's paper about a woman who is starting an afternoon activity center for kids called Math Monkeys. Radical concept, teach kids to do math in their head. No pen, no paper NO CALCULATOR. Wow, you mean like my grandparents learned? You mean like kids in undeveloped countries learn? You mean like making kids think and use their brains for more than synapse to push buttons on a remote or jiggle a joystick?

Wow, teach kids to use their minds? And only charge their parents $169 for a 4 - 6 week session?

Strange how people can make money from things we used to do for free.
