Tropical Depression #1
The season in only 10 days old and we have the first depression of the 2006 hurricane season.
It is currently south of Cuba's western tip and going to move into the Gulf of Mexico where it may strengthen into Tropical Storm Alberto by Monday. It's not expected to come our way but those in the middle of FL, near Tampa and above will probably get it. We're getting some rain, but it won't have high winds.
I'm just glad our roof has been repaired before the season begins.
