Barry

It's raining it's pouring........

hurrah!!

We are starting hurricane season today 6/1/07 with a tropical storm named Barry.

Luckily we are the East side of circulation and that's the "wet" side. It's a weak storm with highest sustained winds of 50 mph, which aren't bad. Wet is what we desperately need to get rid of the drought - about 60 inches of nice steady wet, which Barry won't provide, but it's a start.

So here is hoping that Barry is a nice calm wet storm that dumps sufficent water on the parts of Florida that need it most.

Welcome to the 2007 Hurricane Season!
