TMI a little place to whine

Retailers are going to be disappointed this year I think. Christmas is being advertised to death and people aren't enthralled by it. Most people I know are turned off by it.

Over the top presents? Not this year.

One little extra thing? Not on my list.

I've even skipped a party already. Just not in the holiday spirit.

Downplayed holiday decorations. Downplayed activities.

I can't get "happy" when so many people are hurting.

Shades of Charles Dickens...

And I thought the Regan years were bad enough.
