Abraham
Last Sunday the gospel was about Abraham and how after many year of being without children God promised himt hat he would have as many descendants as the stars in the sky and be the founder of a nation. So in their declining years Abraham and Sarah had Isaac.
Now maybe I am mistaken, but didn't Abraham also take to his bed, because his wife was baren, a servant girl who bore him a son, Ishmael? And Ishmael "founded" Islam?
So, then if Abraham fathered both the nation of the Jews and the nation of Muslims then why are they fighting? Sibling rilvary?
Makes no sense to me.
