TMI a little place to whine

A friend told me today that her son was laid off Friday. He just got married in Sept. Luckily his wife is working at least for now, but that's an iffy situation because she is a nurse and they may close down the hospital where she works.

And I got a phone call from another friend who wanted prayers for her ex-husband's wife, who was found unconcious in the bathroom this evening. They thought she had a heart attack at first, but tests proved that it was not. Now they think she may be brain dead.

This is not turning into a very Merry Christmas season at all.
