American Health Care Avct aka Trumpcare
I am not the only one who
is upset by the Trumpcare pre-existing condition thing. According to a
front page article in today's Miami Herald the Republicans are claiming
that "high risk pools" will ensure that everyone who wants insurance can
get it. Of course those high risk pools come with much higher costs.
Those pools have proved to be ineffective in other cases, but just like the rehashed "trickle down" theory of economics the Republicans want to make sure those at the top get their share of the profits before we at the bottom get our share of care. Which is probably why the word "affordable" is no longer in the picture.
